Moon Colony Bloodbath is a competitive engine-building, engine-losing tableau card game for 1 to 5 players from designer Donald X. Vaccarino. Humanity is colonizing the Moon, but every advance brings a new way for things to go wrong, and your colonists start to die.
Each turn a card is revealed from a shared deck that begins with four work cards, two trouble cards, and two twists. On a work card every player simultaneously takes one action: mine for money, farm for food, research for new cards, build a structure, or restock your buildings. Trouble cards add new event cards to the deck hunger, paperwork, glitches, accidents, leaks, power failures and those disasters cycle back in every time the deck is shuffled.
The game ends when a player's colony runs out of people or the Event deck is exhausted. Whoever has the most surviving colonists wins. Plays in 45-90 minutes and includes a full solo mode.
