First Giants is a competitive set-collection game for 2-5 players where each paleontologist races to assemble the most prestigious prehistoric exhibition. On your turn you recruit cards representing dinosaurs, flying reptiles, and giant mammals, then decide whether to keep them in your hand for their ongoing engine effects or move them into your museum to score points - once exhibited, their abilities are gone for good.

The push-and-pull between building a stronger engine and locking in points keeps every decision tense. Sets of matching creatures, amber tokens, and breaking-news bonuses all feed into final scoring, so timing your exhibits well is the heart of the game.

Designed by Matthew Dunstan and Brett J. Gilbert and published by Space Cowboys, First Giants plays in about 30 minutes and is recommended for ages 10 and up.

Contents: 65 cards, 4 dig site boards, 4 museum boards, 16 wooden markers, 8 news tokens, 29 set tokens, 44 amber tokens, 52 point tokens, and rulebook.
